Seeds of Hope is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2006 by Marilynn Chadwick. After working in urban communities for years, Marilynn realized that many youth in these communities lack dreams for their future. She discovered that without dreams and hope for the future, it is difficult to escape poverty.

Fortunately, she met a precious few students who encouraged her with a passion for their unique gifts, specific dreams and a drive to transform their fragile communities. Rather than dreams, these students lacked the necessary finances and skills to apply to and attend college. With these few students, the Seeds Scholars program was born.

Since its founding, Seeds of Hope has expanded to educate students, pastors, church leaders, government officials and women, so that they can fulfill their dreams and bring hope, healing and transformation to their communities.
