Faith, hope, and dreams create our future.

At SEEDS of Hope, we believe young people with big dreams can transform communities – all they need is a boost! The SEEDS Scholar program provides students with a partial scholarship, a supportive circle of friends, and some informal mentoring to support their goals. That’s all it takes and these young people are ready to soar!

We invite you all to join us as we empower young leaders and support them as they pursue making a difference in their communities.

Why Seeds of Hope?

Seeds of Hope provides academic scholarships and faith-based mentorship to help talented young leaders achieve their educational and vocational goals. Our Seeds community provides on-going encouragement and support for these young leaders as they grow with their families, advance their careers, and serve their communities.

We believe God has a dream for all of our lives and education is the key to upward mobility and success. We also believe investing in others is critical to our communities.

In the "Land of Opportunity" study, Charlotte had the lowest rate of upward mobility out of the largest 50 metropolitan areas in the country, which means only 4.4% of low-income children will go on to become high income adults.

Investments in the health and education of low-income children is the most effective means of improving economic mobility. Deconcentrating poverty and ensuring low-income families have access to a wide range of communities is imperative for their success.

Learn more about upward mobility in Charlotte Opportunity Initiative's report and see how organizations like SEEDs of Hope can make meaningful change right here in our backyards.
